If you know how to overclock, just get the E6550 and run it at 3.0gHz (just like an E6850). It will outperform the Q6600 (stock speed) in games. 3.0gHz would be an easy, mild and safe overclock for the E6550.
Q6600 only becomes unbeatable when overclocked.
