Do you think the nearly 8 year long reign of conservatism has instilled our young people with...?
a disdain for public handouts and subsidies? We are all supposed to pull ourselves up by the bootsraps, are we not? After all, big government is not supposed to take care of us and provide safety nets for its citizens!
Do you think this mindset (as propagated by cable "pundits" like Glen Beck, Bill O'Reilly et al) is to blame for the growing fever of racial tension being displayed by our white and black teenagers. If you don't know what I mean just look at the recent Jenna 6 case, church burnings, excoriatingly racist You Tube videos, etc.

So how do you propose that 65 million RETIREES make it? The poor? The disabled?
How about those whom can't afford college? What's your answer to that?
Whether you like it or not, these subsidy programs (like welfare, SS, and foodstamps) are here to STAY.

No one abandons a US city (shortly after a natural disaster), and calls that 'conservative'.
No one shortchanges the American workforce by millions of good-paying jobs and calls that 'conservative'.
No one denies 10M children affordable healthcare and calls that 'conservative'.
Being conservative means BALANCING your checkbook, helping out when you can, and showing compassion towards your fellow man--while embracing good work ideals.
Smaller and less intrusive government. Faith.

What is the correct way to charge a battery while it is still in the car?
The battery on my Skoda Octavia has run down because the keys were left in overnight (so the problem is owner error rather than faulty battery or alternator).
I have a 12v (10Ah-44Ah) "Absaar ABS7" charger, but it's missing the instruction leaflet. Of course I understand red to red, black to black, but I just want to check:
1) Should I disconnect the battery from the car, or should I leave the car and battery hooked up?
2) In what order I should connect, and then disconnect the cables.
and
2) Should the black (-) cable from the charger be clipped directly onto the battery, or to some metal part of the car?
This may seem like a dumb question to those that know, but hey, safety first. Thanks in advance.
just take off the battery terminals and hook up the charger to your battery positive to positive and negative to negative and if the battery has fill caps on it take the caps off and let it charge up and when done put the caps back on and clean the terminals good and then hook up the positive terminal first then the negative one and your done.
.thought s.you have a problem with the ground,it should be grounded,the neg,from amp metal to bare metal.like your nut that holds down your seat,it s bare metal exposed to the metal of the body of your car.get the neg wire from your amp between the nut and bolt and tighten it up as long the carpet is not under the metal frame of the chair.that s good ground, Metal to Metal.if not your amp won t turn on don t go to the neg on battery.for positive wiring to get check out to make simple go to a reputable local audio installer and ask to test the power and see how they test the audio equipment.if your amp cut off your amp is either to high on gains ans,or ,the speaker wiring need s to be changed
