Blackout Intensity
I fell and hurt my ankle, and then blacked out. Is that bad?
I tripped down the stairs and the fell and really hurt my ankle. When i got up the pain wasn't bad at all but then after taking a few step I became very dizzy and then blackout for about a minute until the pain in my foot completely went away. Then after that the pain came back increasing in intensity, and now it hurts quite bad. It's swollen and blue. Is the blackout something to be worried about? What causes that?
If you broke the ankle, the internal blood loss could lead to shock. That would make you black out, but it seems more likely you're blacking out from the pain. It would be best if you got it checked out, both foot and head.

Where i live, the weather is crazy and my house is about to blackout anymoment!!Or will it? or am i just panicking? Btw, the lights are fluctuating in intensity of light every few minutes. To start with, if your power is that mesed up from the storm, you might want to unplug sensitive items like TV's stereos etc, the computer you are on right now, etc. PS don't panic, people somehow survived before electricity was invented, as long as you aren't in an iron lung, you should be OK. As for home work, maybe use a camp lantern or flashlight, but I'm sure the teachers will understand if there was a blackout, and give more time to get it done.
