Boston Acoustics Soundware

Need help in buying a new Home Theatre system....?
Hi everyone. I just bought a samsung LCD TV 5 series. And now i m planning to buy a home theatre. After a months find i have shortlisted few HT systems. My budget is under 1200 $ (including cables cost). The HT systems i've selected are undergiven. Plz help in selecting the best among them. I'll be very thnkful.
1. Harman Kardon HKTS 5.1.
2. KLIPSCH HD theatre 500.
3. Polk audio RM 6750.
4. Marantz SR302 5.1 A/V receiver with Boston Acoustics MS4000 amp.
5. Boston acoustics soundware XS 5.1 HTS.
And i m planning to buy "Denon's AVR 1610" amplifier to couple with the above systems (except No. 4).
Any help will be appreciable. Good day.
Yups, the above systems will be all decent choices - and great deals can be found on them online etc.
If possible though, is there anywhere you can listen to the systems? - and if possible, side by side?
Anyways, I see that you're in India, so I won't be sure where to go for great deals.
As for online shopping, if you do not mind paying for the shipping, then Amazon.com is worth a browse - as they always have great sales.
First, I'd recommend looking again at the specs of the Denon Receiver. Although Denon makes great products, this one is lacking Dolby Digital TrueHD and DTS-HD - which is the latest "lossless" surround sound format. Most new blurays offer this HD sound format. Pioneer, Onkyo and Yamaha will offer this HD sound and be the same price - or even less.
Then, if the above options are the only ones... I'd go for the HD500.
But I'd suggest looking at other options too.
Klipsch has the Reference line speakers that are a little larger but provides much better quality and sound quality. Check out this set:
http://www.klipsch.com/na-en/products/rb-10-home-theater-system-overview/
Look for sales on each individual pair of speakers - and you'll still be within budget... Klipsch doesn't sell them in a set - they sell them individually for some reason.
Also, look at Audioengine Ap4
http://audioengineusa.com/ap4_home.php
They are $250/pair and provides performance even better than the Klipsch RB10 bookshelves.
Another site:

Just for reference and to note that not just mainstream speakers are available and are best of quality.
---
oh as for Bose, They are BEST! - nothing can beat their design and sound quality!!! - they posses the best sound reverberations and they are expensive, but are worth every penny! -- JUST KIDDING!
---
Good Luck!

Audio Advisor Review - Boston SoundWare Speaker
Boston Acoustics SoundWare XS 5.1 with receiver?
Ok. So I bought the new Boston Acoustics Soundware XS 5.1 home theater speakers and was putting them together until I realized I didn't have a receiver. I'm completely new at this, so I'm not even sure what receiver to get. However, I have a JVC RX-6022V receiver that is a bit old. Would this work, or do I need to buy a new receiver to get the most out of my speakers? Is there a difference between using this older one than buying a brand new, expensive one?
So this older one would not work with an HDMI ps3?
It should work. But it is so out dated. I would suggest you look into up grading to a new receiver capable of decoding the newer hi-def surround code that is on Blu-ray discs. A Yamaha RX-V465 is affordable at $300 & would do a good job for you. See link below. Good luck!

w00t.. awesome
Do you have the sound that you recorded with your cam? Would be awesome instead of the music you edited onto it
