Strongs concordence number 717 means over, completeness, rest, circuit, and to pierce. They are clothed in white robes because they have been killed…pierced. Who does this piercing…a scorpion is known to pierce. Who are the scorpians the bible is talking about? They are described in the 5th trumpet as locusts with the tail of a scorpion. They are first seen in the wilderness in Deut. 8:15. Scorpions are found in the rebellious house (Israel) in Ezek. 2:6. The sting of the scorpion is when he striketh a man is metaphorically the betrayal of a group of people known as the Multitude(people still sitting under false shepherds) The word strike 3817 and betray 3860 are almost identical, in fact, some of the definitions match word for word. In the Old Testament the word scorpion is defined as a knotted whip or scourge (Strong’s 6137).Remember Jesus is whipped (scorpion).Scripture can, and must, be read at the literal level first for the teaching of doctrine. This is what the apostle Paul called “milk.” Prophecy is the higher level of interpretation, it is a higher operation of the consciousness. Metaphorical concepts are a part of a more developed level of consciousness and understanding through what is called: abstraction. This is the “meat” of scripture.Malachi 1:3; “And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness. Who are these dragons? Dragons are the same as serpents. Serpents are the 6the trumpet metaphor they are in the role of the Scribes, Pharisees, and the Sadducees. Jesus and John the Baptist referred to these groups as apostate Jews as serpents and vipers (Matt. 3:7, 12:34, 23:33, Luke 3:7). They take on the role of their father (John 8:44) who is Leviathan (a dragon).Once a person understands that the bible is using a metaphor language that you can understand that deeper language which is described as a purer language that has been hidden for so long. Only now do we have the books open. Daniel 12:9 and Zep. 3:9. When one reads of : Briers, Doves,Fishes Fire, Grass, Horses, Iron, Fowls of heaven, Hail, Lion, Locusts, Moon, North, Ships, Stars, Sun, Trees, Winter, Whirlwind, Wormwood, South……..look for the deeper meaning from a physical to a spiritual and sometimes back to physical.Paul actually makes this clarification for us in I Corinthians 15:39; “All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one king of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. (40) There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”Armageddon is the final battle between christians who come to that understanding of truth of doctrine that they have been lied to and the serpents/scorptions who will kill them for their faith. They are washed in the blood of the Lamb. Jesus too was killed by those same serpents/scorpions.
