Channel Mixer I can't access channel mixer in photoshop?
I use photoshop CS2 9.02v and I am now doing RGB 8 bits. I'm trying to play around with the channel mixer at image-adjustments-channel mixer. I'm thinking of using a pen to get a face, and then play around with the channel mixer. But it's unclickable.
Why is this? And how can i fix it?
btw, im not talking about the pannel.
And it is for all the options in image-adjustments except for variations.
I think the technical term here is greyed out
In the Channels panel, make sure you have selected RGB, not Red, Green, or Blue.

Allen & Heath Xone:22 - 2 Channel Mixer
how do you hook up a pc to a sound mixer to do recording. i have a 16 channel mixer crate?
Cezar t is correct on the connections... My two cents:
Heads up: Board mixes usually sound crappy.
When the PA system is used, the voices are mic'd a lot compared to the guitar or bass amps. And typically, the drums may not even be mic'd...
If you mic EVERYTHING - vocals, guitars, keyboards, multiple mics on the drums (including kick, snare, high-hat, cymbals and toms), bass, and whatever else you have, you might be able to make this work - but the audio coming out of the main speakers won't sound very good... because the loud instruments will be REALLY LOUD.
The best way to do this is by using something like DigiDesign's ProTools that takes the mic inputs from all the instruments and vocals and creates separate tracks for each input. Then you can balance the mix during editing. It is also possible (if your mixing board allows - my Mackie 16 channel does) is to send a separate discreet AUX mix (separate from the mains house mix) that's been properly mixed... Not a lot of audio engineers know how to do this very well...
Heck - it would be easier to just do a live recording wtih a couple of condenser mics set up in an "X-Y" pattern... then all you need to do is worry about the house mix sounding good.
The sky is a bit too washed out. The black and white is a bit muddy. Try using either channel mixer or gradiant map to convert to black and white. I prefer gradient mapping, but it doesn't always work for all images in which case I use channel mixer.
check them using something else first,
they might have been wired incorrectly,
in which case,
take them back to where you got them and get another pair.
