Chauvet Dj Lighting
LED means Light Emitting Diode, so from this name, you can understand that it is very useful and powerful light source. So use them according to your choice and enjoy,

Yeah, I had similar problems with the light source dipping under ground. That happens whether the prim is cut down or not, unfortunately, since attachments are insubstantial and not stopped by collision with the ground or other objects. The cut/dimple trick just keeps the prim small, so you don't end up with a big invisible blob hanging a few meters in front of you (as you've figured out). I also ran into problems with the light source ending up behind nearby objects when I walked closer to them. I ended up making a second, smaller light source right close to the end of the flashlight object. Don't want to go overboard with this (I vaguely remember that only 8 or so light sources can display at once, including the sun/moon), but an extra light source fills in realistically enough. Still looks jarringly unnatural in close quarters, but it's good enough for walking around out in the open.
