Wedding - Church Decorations on a Budget?
I need some tips on how to easily and inexpensively decorate the church for my wedding. I dont have much time or money.
My wedding colors are Navy Blue and White. (There will already be trees with twinkle lights up on the stage)
Remember that above all, you are the centerpiece of the wedding decorations.
Sorry to put it so bluntly, but it is true and you need to work around you and the attendents surrounding you.
When a guest walks into the church (actually the santuary), what do you want them to see?
Blue and white ribbons and bows from every pew end?
white pillar bases with flowers flowing or cascading down from them? (easily rented at most rental places-the pillars that is)
Both of these ideas are very inexpensive and quickly done with pins and tape. The flowers can be faux and really should be as you want to decorate the night before and still have them looking beautiful.
Oh, and get someone else to do the actuall decorating, and love it no matter what. Micro managing some things is a no no and if you do not have the finances to hire a decorator, then give your friends a theme (colors) and a budget, or just give them the materials that you purchased and let them use their creativity and you focus on the important stuff, enjoying your wedding and the hustle and bustle leading up to it.

dream interpretation help please?
okay this is my dream I don't know if god is trying to tell me something or what.
I was in a church and walking in a Suit and Tye as i did the podium from the church i used to go-to to my left on the stage disappeared. to the right from where white steps leading up and people standing on the steps praising god and clapping there hands and in front of me in the distance was
a doorway without a door and a sun shining though it. all of a sudden I was in hospital room I was talking to a elderly woman i said to the woman that there is only one god and I was dressed in rabbi clothes between us was the same doorway with light and this African tribal man jumps out of the doorway and the dream ends
That may mean you are called to do a number of things...Maybe one day you will be led to africa, hence the african tribal man jumping out the the doorway... I think that the church was supposed to represent where you are meant to be trained in God's word so that you can be prepared for the places God wants you to go in the future...I thing it may be part of your calling...I dont know you personally, but depending on where you are and where your heart is, you have a choice to make really soon, and you will know what to do...Just pray and ask for wisdom.
