What are some preppy outfits?
I would not consider myself a "true" prep but more a prep/casual combination. I guess I am still trying to define my style because I live in a regular suburban area and I do not want to come off with the country club look. It is not something necessary a person would wear going to a non-ivy league college.
I currently wear Ralph Lauren/Lacoste mostly with some A&F clothing. Mostly I wear polos, khaki/cargo shorts, plaid shorts, pre-destroyed jeans (yes i know), dress shirt with sweater combo, and mostly in flip flops.
However I feel that it becomes repetitive wearing polos with khaki/plaid shorts. I guess I want a style that represents a clean put together look but at the same time avoiding a look that is too professional. Any tips?
wear a button up over a t-shirt, and roll up the sleeves. it can look very put together if your wearing a good pair of jeans or khakis.
