Depression Glass Pattern?
I recently purchased a pink, six sided candy dish with an eagle and star pattern. I believe it may be a Depression era piece, but there's several different companies that made Depression glass and I can't find this particular pattern. If anyone can offer and clues as to what it is exactly, I would really appreciate it! If you want to see a pic of it, just ask. I also have a clear crystal bowl with a lid, which I suspect may be Depression glass also.
The pattern you have is called "Embassy", made by Libby Glass around 1939.
It was a special one off pattern made for the US pavilion at the World fair in 1939.
Although this glass was made around the right period in time, it is not considered "depression glass".
