Fender Groove Tubes

Fender Hot Rod Deluxe help!?
I bought a used hot rod deluxe a while back and it worked fine. It only recently started popping, crackling and losing volume involuntarily. I found that one of the preamp tubes was not actually a guitar amp tube and replaced it. After that it was okay for a little longer, but the problem repeated itself. So I tested the power tubes, found they were on the verge of being unusable and purchased new Groove Tube 6L6CHP Power Tubes. Put them in and the volume is lower than every, i almost do not get any sound unless i crank the volume. When I put it on the drive channel, however, the volume is more normal. Can anyone help me? Im not too handy so I know I may need to see a tech, I just wanted to know if I there was anything I can do.
*I didn't re-bias the amp when I put the new Power Tubes in because they were the kind of tube*
The best thing to do would be to take it in to a certified tech. That's a GREAT amp, so once you get it in normal working condition you should be totally satisfied.

groove tube
fender Hot Rod Deluxe?
i own a fender hot rod deluxe, should it be distorted on the clean channel when turned up? or is it the tubes that are broken or something? cause one of the groove tubes isnt lighting up how do i fix this?
Sounds like a tube thing to me. They should light up equally & the clean channel should be just that, unless you've got it turned up WAY high. Try switching the power tubes around and see if this helps. Also, make sure they're seated in well - Fender's only flaw was designing the amp where the tubes could fall out. You can get the little spring attachments like Marshalls have to keep this from happening too. Good luck.
