I have a Chauvet Hurricane 1050 fog machine that is now discontinued. They no longer manufacture or sell the timers for my model fogger, but I was looking at cheap ones in the stores (walmart/target) and they look almost exactly the same (same timer buttons and each remote plugs into the machine with 3 prongs).
I was wondering if I can buy a cheap 3 pronged timer at say Target (my machine also requires 3 pronged remotes, as most do I believe) and will it work alright on my machine? I'm just thinking they all work on the same principal, and if the prongs match my machine it should work, right?
