Cancelled health insurance policy after surgury question?
My fiance just had spinal surgury (disk fusion). His insurance company he's had for a year now, has just cancelled his health insurance but not before shouting preexisting condition. He heard this from the Neuromedial hospital when trying to get another CAT scan for checking up on the surgury.
Should we get a lawyer involved yet? Or should we wait it out for a more definite answer from the insurance company? I'd hate to just get married just so he'll have health insurance under my policy.
most policys will only not cover a pre existing condition for the first 6 months.You should be covered

i had appointment and need a ct-cat scan possible triple fusion operation?
so on friday i saw a specialist for my ankle i have a mashed up navicular and cuboid with a random bone growth in between it all that has been grinding for around 2 years (i broke those two bones and a rondom piece of bone grew) so i have been told i need a triple fusion but nothing can be done until i have a cat scan what will they check for on the scan?
also how much time off work would it result in after the triple fusion i am in the army so dont think it will be to soon?
i would have asked at the appointment but there was some sort of language barrier as i did not want to sound daft because i asked him to explain the above about 5 times!
