Halogen Flood Light How do you change a gu10 flood halogen bulb ?
How do you change a gu10 flood halogen bulb?
I bought a house that has nice track lighting, only to find that they use gu10 halogen bulbs that I can't remove for the life of me and almost screamed when I saw I had a second bulb out.
I have tried the little suction cup plunger that the old owners left behind with extra light bulbs....trouble is that the plunger won't suction cup to the original bulbs because they are flat across, however it will suction to the new bulbs that are curved on top. I have managed to get my fingers on the rim of the old bulb to try to twist and unlock but it seems that the only thing i've been successful at is loosening the base that the bulb plugs into.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated before I call it quits and have new lighting fixtures installed.
It's just a simple turn anti clockwise, about a quater of a turn. The suction cup idea should work though keep trying. Good luck
i had him for such along time maybe sense 2008 and he is only 23 inches. i feed him at 10am also at 2pm and at 5pm. i feed him turnip greens collard greens also watercress and butternut squash. he has a uvb 100 watt mega ray light also a halogen flood light 75 watt also a 48 inch tube light that's 5000kalvin color spectrum. and his cage is 6 foot tall and 5 foot wide. and his humidity is around 80 sometimes. wats the problem?
I assume you mean the green iguana and that the length you provided is STL (snout to tail length.) Green iguanas take about 4 years to reach full adult size. If you got your little guy two years ago and he was bought as a baby, the length you provided sounds normal for his age. Your husbandry sounds up to par, so, in about 2 more years (depending on the sex of the iggy) you should have a 4 - 6 foot reptile on your hands. Females will be smaller than males.
