I am 16 years old and I have a huge dance coming up. There is a guy I like that I want to ask, however he told me he wasn't going to the dance. I want to ask him if he would like to go with me, but we are friends and I don't want to create any awkwardness between us. What should I do?
He may not want to go since he does not have a date. Ask him to go with you as friends that way if he says no you have not made a full of yourself and if he says yes you can say "great" and make a comment such as "maybe we'll look like a real couple" and wink as you say it.

3. I'm a bit sorry that Xanadu wasn't good. I wanted it to be better than the movie, because the music (particularly the E.L.O. stuff) was so good. I wish they'd have just done a concept album instead of a whole play (or, for that matter, a whole movie back in the '80s).
