What should i do with my faulty xbox 360?
my xbox keeps on freezing when i play GRAW 2. it runs perfectly for some amount of time but then it freezes. (p.s. i had the three red lights of death before but i overcame that) i would replace my xbox by sending back to microsoft but i would have to pay $20 for shipping plus another $60 for the new refurbished system's warranty. also i heard that many people who received a refurbished system had the same problems of the xbox freezing. im thinking i could sell my xbox on ebay with my other accessories/games.
should i sell it all for good and use my ps3 as a console replacement or buy another 360. (i dont like ps3 games now, xbox is coming out with huge titles in the next few months)
Ya, stick with the 360. Lesson for the future though, buy at costco. I did and I had the same problem, its b/c your system is overheating, GRAW does that more often than other games for whatever reason. I'd first try and return it where you bought it, then I'd call microsoft and see if you really do have to pay 80 dollars (I'm pretty sure you dont because its not a repair it would be a replacement, there are a certain # of faulty Xboxs that do that) and finally, if all else fails I'd go to target or whatever and buy the back fan attachment to see if that does the trick. Theres an accesory that will take heat out of your xbox and pump cool air in. Xbox is the way to go though, keep it.
