I have this computer that is giving me problems! I think it's call the interface whatever let you communicate with the PC. The computer boots normal everything seems to be OK but once you want to access a program the computer doesn't respond. I tough by replacing the os everything was going to be back to normal but same thing!!! I put a Linux ubuntu same thing!!! I thing is the chipset but I don't rally know because i have a laser mouse and it light up but still not working!!!
Please help me with this!!!! NOTE: when it broken was lightning and the power thing blew up, i replace it but as a result happened what i already toll you.
I have two more hard drives with different o?s and same problem with these o/s, so i don't thing is the hard drive.
So, here's the answr most will give oyu, "it's the hard drive!"
And to be honest, it could be but if the hard drive was dead you wouldn't be able to boot into the computer.
It is possible that the problem is just plain uld heat related. make sure that the pc is completely clean, I mean the vents, the cpu fan and heatsinc, the ram. A dusty computer will overheats quickly and the pc will freeze. Thi is the most likely cause. if it's the hard drive, possible, then make sure you buy a new one and see if that helps any.
