damn he got every single bit of that shit, it was funny as fuck when the announcer said bonds couldn't even hit it that deep. GG
I agree with your comments about using energy efficient lightbulbs. Energy saver lamps are an excellent way of reducing your fuel bill and carbon footprint with lamp life up to 15 times more than standard lamps. Use our calculator to see how much you could save by switching to low energy lamps.
Stuart, you have once again hit the spot as far as I am concerned. My local authority has gone recycling mad and we are busy separating rubbish into different categories in order to carry out ridiculous strategies of recycling. We are instructed to put certain categories of material into the recycling refuse, even though the manufacturers of the material explicitly state that it cannot be recycled. The refuse is then taken many miles by road to go through another separation process.
You are correct about “sensible recycling”. Glass is an excellent material in that respect and instead of just breaking up glass for recasting re-using bottles and jars would make a substantial saving in manufacture.
CFL were useful for reduction of electricity consumption (put me down as another Moyer Miser if you like) but new LED lights are a great substitute.
Final small niggle. I bought some special CFL lamps and the batch all failed after several months (but well below claimed lamp life) The shop refused recompense on teh grounds that they had “lasted as long as an incandescent would”. I had neither the time nor the energy to fight that stupid battle.
When are you going to post about wind farms, the other great fraud being perpetrated by corrupt business-men and stupid politicians?
