Q; country, what led you to run for office?
A: Well, after work, I drink a case of beer at the local bar. Some mornings i'm to hung over to go
to work at the asphalt paving co. I thought, what
else could I do. It came to me in a vision. Run for
office. Politicians make huge salaries, work when
they want to and get plenty time off, which will go
good for my lifestyle.

If the practice of the department were to pension off the lights together with the host vehicle, the investment would become a money loser equation. However, if the lightbar will be removed from the original vehicle and fixed on the replacement vehicle, the investment could be worth it.
Users can also consider the terms and conditions of a lightbar purchase warranty to decide its long-term usefulness. Some purchase warranties can be renewed and come with upgradation options, especially when the vehicle is bought on a turnkey basis. In such a purchase, if a lightbar model can be upgraded with better features or a better warranty after a few years, then also the investment would be worth it. In short, it is your need for it, and the way in which you are able to use it, that will decide the cost effectiveness of light bars.
