What is the smallest and brighest flashlight?
I am looking for a reallly small flashlight that has a high lumen output (at least 120 lumens or more). If you know of any flashlights like this, please tell me about them, I already have the Streamlight Scorpion LED. I would also like the flashlight to be at least 8 inches or smaller. Thank you

Logic 74SL00 Quad 2 input NAND IC help?
I have a 74SL00 QUAD 2 input NAND logic IC and it has 7 pins on each side 12 for the NAND and one for GND and VCC if you've looked at a NAND logic table you will see that the output is only high if both the inputs are low. What i don't understand is how to get it working i know VCC is postive and i don't have to use GND but when VCC is in i'm not sure if the inputs are low or high. When an LED is plugged in the inputs are dimmer than the outputs so i was guessing A=LOW and B=LOW so the output was high. But when i connect the VCC to one of the inputs there was no change niether if i connect to the + terminal. When VCC is not connected only the first NAND gate works and high of course does not because there is no power from double lows
So do I connect them all to one 10k resistor or to seperate resistors connect to seperate grounds
Use a 5vdc source for VCC, positive connected to the VCC terminal, GND terminal connected to the negative side of the voltage source. The input pins may float (float= some leakage current resulting in a voltage appearing to be greater than 0vdc). These input pins should be terminated into a load (approx 10Kohms to ground to dissipate the leakage current). The LED you are using should be an acceptable load for the output.
