Laptop RGB LED display?
I am looking at buying a laptop and I seen some that have a RGB LED display, I was just wondering what RGB stands for and if its a good choice to buy
RGB stands for Red, Green, Blue. RGB LED is the alternative to WLED (white) and offers a noticeably brighter image and displays a wider range of colour than WLED.
From what I have read from numerous reviews and forums RGB is superior to WLED but it does come at a premium so I recommend you see the difference for yourself before making the decision. Depending on the product some people have said RGB is too bright while others say the difference is small. Also, the glossy screened RGB does have noticeable issues with reflections which can be distracting.
The technology is meant to be an advantage for movie buffs and people that require a superior colour but I would be interested to know if anyone has experienced gaming with this kind of screen and believe it is worth the extra cost for that purpose.

Does any one know where I can buy a bunch of triple output RGB LED's for cheap?
I'm making a project for my ECE class and i need to know where I can buy a lot of RGB LED's, preferably 500+, for a decent price.
They're not exactly cheap yet but here are a few places to get 'em.
