I have an overhead fan light with a dimmer in my new room. Theres 4 light bulb sockets. I was wondering what type of light bulbs does a dimmer take? Anything special? Be detailed.
Any conventional bulb is fine.
They sell "fan bulbs" too. They have extra supports on the filament and are a bit more compact.
Most fan users prefer clear glass bulbs instead of frosted ones.
If the dimmer also slows down the fan than lose the dimmer.
