Light Led Par I'm trying to find out the PUR watts of two different LED lights 1. 430nm at 10 watts 2. 650nm at 10 watts?
Since the frequencies fall within the most useful spectrum's for plants I would imagine that the PAR watts would be close to the PUR watt or maybe the same. thanks
These 2 terms were coined for "normal" (incandescent or discharge) light bulbs, where PAR and PUR are not the same.
I agree with you that for LEDs at narrow bandwidth, the "active" and the "useful" radiation should be the same, if it exactly matches the photosynthesis peaks.

It is difficult to figure out what you mean by that. if you mean in terms of light output, they should all be about equal. the light output is different from the wattage. wattage refers to power usage, light intensity is measured in lumens.
