Lighting Lights stage
I am a beginner who is looking to light a stage for a comedy show. Where do I begin?
There is already adequate house lighting. I just need to add floor lights (lights from the front of the stage floor that aim up at the comedia) Where do I get them? I am in Chicago, IL. Is there a good place. Also, is there a place in Chicago to get SearchLights?
i agree with the person above; you don't want footlights for anythign but a dramatic piece. You could rig lights from above, because they seem to work the best. even having lights come in from a diagonal a feet feet higher from where the audience is seated.(rigged at the walls S.L. and S.R.)
