can this microphone be used to record music as well as sports talk podcasts?

i'm clueless as far as mics go
Well I use it for music, so I don't know about podcasts.
But i do know that the quality is good, and theres hardly any background noise and it would probably work good for what anybody wants to do with it.

The regular kind. It should come with the adapter to make it fit on any mic stand.
