mini Moving I moved my mini fridge on it's side and now it dosn't cool?
I moved my mini fridge on its side a couple of days ago and it still doesn't cool, it is make a hum noise like my other fridge and the back seems to get iced on a coil. Can you please help me fix my problem
Are you running it while it is laying on its side? If so the oil in the compressor is not lubricating the piston rod and may be pumping excessive amounts of oil through the system. Frost build up on the (I presume you are looking at the suction line) rear backside is usually an indication of a partially blocked cap tube or low freon. If it was just moved on its side and is now standing upright, did you let it stand at least 4-6 hours before plugging it in to allow the oil to return to the bottom of the compressor? If no unplug and let stand for awhile. If it is running on its side, stand it back up straight, unplug and let stand for awhile.
