Moving, Relocating to PA???? BUT WHERE??

This is a tall order: Where is the best economy, most "bang for the buck" for housing, quaint yet modern in PA
Question Details: In other words - we are thinking of relocating to PA - and want to make this our LAST move..we are looking for a good family area, very modern, not old and run down, quaint as well with some mom and pop stores, nice street lighting, parks, good homeschooling, near cultural ammenities, i.e. theatre, museams, art, etc.with a good economy and alot of "bang for the buck" housing with acerage for horses - WOW!!! is that too much to ask for???

I can't answer that question specifically. I do have a friend that is moving to Emmsworth. It seems you can get a decent house for the price. I would however suggest looking in "Groups" on Yahoo. There is another site called tribes.net. I would think you can read a little more than what you will get here in answers.

What plays offer meaty roles for young women (aged 20-30)?

My community theatre is in desperate need of some decent roles for women who are 20-30 years old, so I'm searching for plays to present to the selection committee. We've done enough thoroughly light-hearted, even corny-as-hell, productions--we need something that is a bit hard hitting, or at least, more mature. We'd like to move the sense of humour further toward the 'dry wit' end of the spectrum (away from slapstick). Our theatre isn't exactly brimming over with young male actors, so that is a bit of an obstacle. Basically, we're pretty open to plays from any era, of any subject matter...anything that will allow the actress(es) to push themselves. Cheers.

Hedda Gabbler
A Doll's House
(actually almost any Ibsen Play)
Miss Julie
The Glass Menagerie
Street Car Named Desire
No Exit (It's not a long play but it has 2 main female roles)
The Respectful Prostitue
Miss Warren's Profession

Alf, that's an option, of course. There are lights at the Bear and again at Iceland. I suspect moving the lights down to the Co-op would cause problems if traffic coming up from the Bear hit another set of lights almost straight away. It could lead to traffic getting stuck over the lights.

I guess we are past the moment of caring about screentime and caring more about the substance in a character instead haha :P Damn we sound old.

The development is too draggy and made me annoyed with boredom, perhaps that affected my judgement of the overall quality. I can't imagine how I'll feel if this series started to go towards more opera theatre style later..*sweatdrops*

I had a pleasant surprise when I went to work today – My club had hired 4 CDJ2000′s! First time using them – I am in love. Our usual set-up is a DJM1000 mixer, and a DJM800 as a backup, and anything from 2 to 4 CDJ1000 MKII’s, plus a cupboard full of 1210′s that never see the light of day any more. We should have an EFX unit, but someone spilled sambucca in it a few weeks back… As for amps, there’s a 6′ rack out back that’s about 80% full, so have a guess at how much power we have to hand. Lighting, if anyone’s interested, is controlled by a Pulsar Masterpiece 216, and a standalone strobe control, and we have a few different lasers, sadly only one big Martin smoke machine atm, and a variety of Martin moving lights. Yes, I love my job.
