What would happen if I had a mirror Gallery destroyed while I had multiple legends (same one) in play?
I just need to know. I am making an Iona, The Shield of Emeria based deck... A deck like that could make someone quite the game... lol
Also, if say destroying mirror gallery would destroy the other Iona that are in play, who would pick which to be sent to the graveyard? I would assume I would therefore I'd have to choose carefully, especially in multi color decks. Thanks for all input!
The legend rule states that if two or more legendary permanents with the same name are in play at the same time, they all go to their owners' graveyards. Mirror Gallery lets you ignore that rule. When Mirror Gallery leaves play, the rule applies again - so all legendary permanents with more than one in play will go into your graveyard. If you have multiple Iona, you'll lose them all.
