Why will my xbox 360 wireless controller not work now?
It has the battery pack in it but will the remote will not control the xbox 360 console. I even have it connected using the usb port and it still will not work. Could the batteries be bad in it by now?? I can turn the power on at the console and the ring of light on the controller will turn on, however when it tells you to press start it will not start the game. The light on the cable thats connected to the remote is not lit up either.
Maybe is not synchronized, press the little button on the controller ( where you connect the head set) and the the button on the 360 next to the memory card slots to see is it syncs.

Baltimore Sun TV critic David Zurawik makes a good – albeit somewhat obvious – point re the Olbermann/O'Reilly matter. To wit, management for both networks only tried to calm things down when the two hosts went after the opposing network's management or on-air personalities. As long as KO and BO were smearing non-network affiliated people, management didn't seem to care too much. Or at all.

Executives at NBC News and Fox News didn't care about O'Reilly and Olbermann recklessly attacking others sometimes with flatout lies and, in the case of Olbermann, slander — that was okay. It was only when the family members of a CEO at GE and an on-air performer for Fox were reportedly unhappy that it was time to cool things down and rein in the out-of-control cable TV hosts.
He goes even further:
I immersed myself in 1950's TV and media as part of my Ph.D. dissertation, and I can tell you that prime-time cable TV hosts like Olbermann are playing the very same dark and dangerous chords as McCarthy's lot. Only today, thanks to cable TV and the Web, they have bigger amplifiers….
