Par 64 Lights
Need help with car photography, how to eliminate the dull, yellow light from a Halogen light source?
work for a car dealership, taking photos of all their cars. They recently set up a photo-booth area indoors. I have flourescant lights above on the ceiling, and have about 8 PAR 64 halogen canisters aiming at the vehicles. But, after taking the photos of the cars, they look dull, and the halogen lights give the vehicles a yellow, dull look, especially lighter-colored cars. I've tried using a frost filter, but all that does is take away from light out-put....So, what can I do to get rid of the yellow, dull lighting.
At least the lighting is consistent, so why not just use a custom white balance? Use something white (piece of paper is good enough for a hobbyist such as myself) and use that to set the custom white balance of your camera.

i always see Par 36, Par 64, bulbs what does it measure??
It is the size and type of the lamp. Parabolic Aluminized Reflector, in 1/8ths of an inch.
