A bachelorette party is the celebration that the prospective bride has with her girlfriends before the wedding day. It is a time for her to have some girl bonding time with her close friends and family. Normally the party is just for close friends, family, and members of the bridal party. The honor of planning this event normally falls on you, the maid of honor so the responsibility is yours to plan a great party for the bride. Now, we can talk about gift ideas. You can say that the bachelorette party is the mirror image of the bridal shower gift. It normally has something to do with the more intimate parts of the wedded couple's relationship. So it is okay to go with the traditional gifts like underwear, racy sleepwear and the like.
