Polished Led
Does Nail polish have led paint in it?
I was bitting my nail and swallowed a little peice of it by accident and someone has told my nailpolish has ledpaint in it.Someone else told me if it did they wouldent sell it in stores because its against the law.So can someone help me out?

In my EPA training as a lead-based paint inspector and lead risk assessor, they covered other sources of lead poisoning. Occupational (battery factory), recreational (shooting, casting your own bullets), cultural (certain middle eastern and Asian spices and some traditional medicines), etc.
But nail polish was never mentioned. Maybe it could have been a issue if it was from 1900 or 1930 before lead was taken out of most products. It was greatly reduced after 1950 and mandated out of paints in 1978.
A modern nail polish? No lead in it, for sure.

Samsung to build new Singapore LNG plant
Singapore LNG Corporation Pte Ltd has awarded the contract for the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of Singapore's LNG terminal to South Korean builder Samsung C&T Corporation.
The total budget for the terminal funded by the Singapore government is S$1.5 billion, of which about S$1 billion is for the EPC contract, according to joint statement from SLNG and Singapore's Energy Market Authority (EMA) on Monday.
The LNG terminal at Jurong Island will have an initial capacity of 3.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa), with provisions for expansion to 6.0 Mtpa or more, if required, the statement said.
The LNG terminal will be located on an approximately 30-hectare site on the south-western part of Jurong Island and is expected to be ready in 2013.
The statement said the LNG terminal is expected to be Asia's first open-access, multi-user terminal, and it will not only provide capacity for Singapore to import regasified LNG for its own needs, but also open up opportunities for companies to make use of the terminal for LNG trading.
In addition to the award of the EPC contract, Foster Wheeler Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has also been appointed by SLNG to be its project management consultant.
SLNG and Foster Wheeler will jointly manage the EPC contractor through an integrated project management team approach, allowing SLNG to be fully involved in the management of the engineering and construction activities.

Three groups including Italian, Korean and Polish builders placed initial offers to build Poland's liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal estimated to be worth 600-700 million euros ($823-960 million).
Polskie LNG, the group overseeing the construction process, said on Friday the three consortia were: Polish PBG with Italy's Saipem, Polimex and Tecnimont , and a group led by Daewoo Engineering and Construction, a unit of Daewoo International.
"The next stage would be negotiations with the bidders, after which they will be able to place their final bids in April," Zbigniew Rapciak, head of Polskie LNG, which is overseeing the investment, was quoted in a statement.
"In May we want to sign the deal with the consortium, which will build the LNG terminal in the Baltic port of Swinoujscie."
The capacity of the terminal, to be ready by mid-2014, is planned at 5 billion cubic metres of gas annually, with an option to raise it to 7.5 billion.
Poland, European Union's largest ex-communist member, is currently using 14 billion cubic metres of gas a year, mostly from Russia.
Many of the insulation products for projects like this can be supplied by one of the market leaders for stainless steel banding and cladding BSthermal with experience of similar projects around the world.
