Hip-hop is dead: what fresh talent is out there?
Like all the classic MCs are now entering their late 30s/early 40s. Mobb Deep are total sell-outs, Redman seems to be doing pop tunes if anything at all. Busta doing shitty collabs with Linkin Park. There doesn't seem to be any fresh talent coming through, anybody with real talent or soul. Maybe I'm wrong but if you know otherwise, let me know. I'm always up for listening to new things.
I'm in to Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, Busta, Mykill Myers, Beatnuts, the first 50 Cent album, Pharaoh Monche, Jadakiss, Nas, DMX, all sorts of classic shit, too much to list. But maybe I'm a bit out of touch with whats going on right now.
PS: I have no time for pop-orientated bullshit, I like proper head-noddy stuff with soul and purity. Cheers

Use of database Query Language in dynamic web development
In the process of web based development and programming where information is retrieved and send dynamically and sometimes in real-time, it is necessary to interact with the database continuously. The solution to this is database query language which is used to interact with a database.
While we have a number of query languages like, “D” (for truly relational database management systems or TRDBMS), CODASYL, .QL, CQL, DMX (for Data mining models), SQL or Structured Query Language is the most popular and widely used of all, especially in the case of large scale databases or web sites development .
A database query language is, in fact, simpler to use than any other programming languages. For example, to retrieve the details of all the employees whose last names are “Smith” from a table “employee” in a database; we can use the following query statement:
SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEE WHERE EMPLOYEE.LASTNAME = “Smith”;
Of course, there would be some minor changes in the keywords used in the query statement which may vary from database to database. Nevertheless, the basic concept of using the query language remains the same and can be easily used in development of website where web pages retrieve information from an online database.
A database query language can perform the following tasks:
- Data definition (used to create, modify or delete objects of a database such as a table)
- Data manipulation (To add, update or delete data)
- Data Control (To control the authorization parameters in a database)
In a professional web development environment, the most common function of a database query language is the data retrieval process performed through the SELECT statement. Although, the SELECT statement does not affect the data stored in the database, in certain environments the SELECT INTO statement can perform data operations too. There are other statements of importance too, like Update, Insert into and so on.
