Red Lab
I have a 9month lab. She has big red bumps all over her chin&muzzle area. she even has some on eye.dog acne?!?
is there really such a thing? and if it is dog acne can it go to her eye? My other lab/pit mix had one big red bump but on her shoulder! im really worried. But is very fiancial straped and cant afford to take them both to the vet.Is there any home remedies that really work?
It can just be bug bites that will go away on their own. I wouldn't worry about it unless the bumps stay for more than 2 weeks.

What are hot spots? My Red Lab gets them on his body, and scratches them to make mattters worst?
"Hot spots" are pruritic areas of pyoderma...itchy infected skin, usually the result of an allergy to something. The dog is itchy in one particular spot and then scratches/chews it until it becomes a raw, infected "hot spot".
