Remote Control Blackout
Where can I get the blackout window treatments from the movie "Holiday" with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law?
I have heard of "black out blinds" that look like regular blinds, but the ones in the movie were remote controlled and completely blocked out the light. I'm sure they are pricey, but I have got to have them!
Go to stores that deal with blinds. They could point you in the right direction or go online and look.

Infrared Sensor Blackout Lens Cover Source?
I'm building a remote control cabinet. I can't figure out where to find those small black covers(like on the front of a television) to hide the infrared sensor. What is it called and where can I get them?

The plastic is usually a dark blue or red, not quite black. So a dark acrylic panel should work fine.
If you're trying to reduce interference I've linked below some standard IR filters.
Also, a photography store would have IR-pass material. It should attenuate anything above 700nm or so.
