what recording software should I use with my Rocktron utopia b300 bass floor pedal?

and what will i need to continue?

i record a lot of local musicians around town and Audio engineering is also my major in college.
i assume that your just going to be recording your bass correct? and if you dont know how to do this then you probably do not have a lot of recording equipment so i'll simplify this, your pedal has a USB port on the back so go and plug that into your computer. second if your on a budget get Audacity its free, or a low end program such as Sony Acid which is about $20. if your more interested in using MIDI then you'll want a program with more features, I personally use SONAR by Cakewalk which comes in different versions for different needs this will be your best bet if you want to get everything out of your recordings. to use midi you'll need 2 midi cables and a midi interface which are fairly inexpensive. hope this helps a little bit bro.
