thats more then enough, i am a DJ/producer and i have much less then that.. Equipment means nothing, you'll learn that as you go along, i'm not sure if your new to it.. but it really is about your talent and skill.
the cdj 1000 mk3's are SICK.. very high end pioneer cdjs 
and the djm1000 is the 2nd best mixer you can buy from pioneer.. i think the only competition to that would be the Xone 3D mixer (allen and heath brand) .. seriously, this is very nice equipment hardest thing about djing is having a nice selection of tracks, you'll be looking/downloading/buying tracks just as much as mixing.
As for the producing aspect, Fruityloops is good for newbies.. you'll learn a lot , but I find it limits your producing potential.. the sounds are really "fruity sounding" lol.. the samples are bad quality compared to those in softwares like Ableton Live and Cubase, and your can't arrange your song as well as other programs.. but I give it 1 thing.. the note editor in Fruityloops is hella easy to use!! I wish i could tell you about logic.. but im not a Mac guy.. so.. im not sure... I would stick with ableton, reason and cubase for PC.. you can't go wrong with that. The equipment is dope too.. more then enough to get you started. Like i said though, if your new to this.. it won't matter.. you probably won't even know how to use this for a while.. it'll be just collecting dust.. i owned a midi controller 49 key axiom .. for a while, never used it until last year. I mainly use VST's (virtual instruments) software... to produce sounds, and use FX that are also software .. because its extremely easy to get.. and accessible everywhere on the net. All in all, thats probably close to 10,000 bucks new ... but be careful though, your still missing a lot of things for the production set up, do u have a descent soundcard? dual core chip or quad core CPU? lots of ram and hard drive storage? do you have studio monitors? (studio speakers) do you own a PC or a MAC? (logic is for mac i believe..)

How do i make my microphone work when connecting it to a recording interface?
I have a shure57 microphone, and an Edirol by Roland interface, and i can't figure out how to make it pick up sound. Does anyone know how??
When you open up your recording options you need to select what input you are using for recording. assuming you have loaded the driver software for your edirol...> open control panel...>open sounds and audio devices....>select the audio tab...>select the edirol device for recording... > select the volume tab...> select advanced... make sure the microphone tab is not muted and the volume is up
