Sound Active Chase Ways to get my lazy dog exercising!?
I swear, my dog has "Dog ADD." It's hard to get him active in anything. For instance, my dad and I have tried fetch with him. That'll work about once or twice, but after that, he just goes a sniffing.
He's also very chunky, which may be a major reason as to why he's so lazy. I take him on walks and will try to get him to run some. But he insists on taking his time and, yes, sniff/mark everything...
Here's my idea: I want to buy a Shell Shocker toy. Maybe I can chase him or let him chase it for exercise. How's that sound? I'm open to your ideas as well!!!
My dog was also very chubby, but when we started walking her in the morning and before it got dark at night for loooonnnggg walks she got in shape and then when she started to lose weight we trained her in agility that look off all the extra pounds!
My cat is running around playing with her ball and being hyper and active, and eating.
She is 3 years old,
But it sounded like she was sniffling a bit, and her right eyes sort of watery.
So my question is if she has a respritory problem or cold, Would she be tired and sleeping alot rather then playing and running like crazy chasing her ball?
Cats can get allergies like humans, they also get respitory illnesses. Do you get her vaccinated annually? If not, she may have a serious but treatable infection. I would schedule an exam. Trust me, I have cats and waiting for it to get worse will make it more expensive. I would make an appointment, no need to go to emergency unless she starts vomiting lots or has trouble breathing.
