Speaker Cable
is it ok to use a speaker cable to connect a video signal by attaching an RCA connector on both ends? i?
i need a very long RCA cable and the speaker cable is cheaper. besides i already have it with me. should i connect a couple of RCA's on both ends to use it from my camera to a tv monitor would it not damage the camera or the tv?
You could damage the input and output boards respectively. Also it may not even work. Video needs a specific 75 ohm impedance cable

Townshend Audio Isolda Speaker Cable "geometry matters"
What's the best way to extend this Logitech Z-2300 speaker cable?
I just bought the Logitech Z-2300 2.1 speaker system. The cables that hook the speakers to the subwoofer are too short for my setup. I need two or three more feet on one or both of the cables.
The cables are hardwired to the speaker and plug into the woofer. Is there a way I can safely make the cable longer without damaging the speaker or the performance?

Any helpful answers or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Just stop by Radio Shack and ask for "2 {insert exact length you need, leaving room for a bit of slack; the shorter the better} mono male-to-female RCA cables with gold tips."
Get a name brand (like THX, Belkin, Monster Cable or Logitech), but don't splurge too much, there really isn't much difference between brands. They shouldn't cost more than $15 each.
