Im moving to chicago soon. I have a degree in "Theatre" and have had a number of jobs in local theatres and have been a part of countless college and highschool productions. I'm a general techie. I can design sets and lights but am a little amature in that respect. However i am very good when it comes to set construction, rigging lights, scenic painting, and so on. I've done everything from ushered to stage manage. How is the theatre job market in chicago? Do i have a chance or am i going to have to wait tables and fight for a paying theatre gig?
