Sys stage Lighting
My heat on a roof mounted furance/ac is not working what can be the problem(s)?
I have a furance+ac unit on top of my commercial unit, now the fan works, cooling works, but the heat does not turn on. Not sure if it is a single or dual stage, but I do have six wires going to the thermostat, but two are not used, just taped up, but it working last year fine?
The gas is turned on, I went on top of the roof, and did not see where to light the pilot light, but think it is a automatic ignition sys.

Can you provide the make, model and serial number? This will help diagnose the unit.
Some things you can do as a property owner:
Turn off the thermostat and then Turn off the power to the unit.
Replace the filter
Inspect the burn area to see if there are any obstructions, loose wires, or excessive corrosion on the igniter (WARNING: If it is a hot surface igniter, DO NOT TOUCH! The oils in your hand can ruin the igniter).
With the thermostat off, turn the power back on. If you feel confident, use a jumper wire to jump the connection from "R" to "W."
Watch the sequence of events.
The basic operation of an automatic ignition system:
The thermostat is set to heat, and the temperature goes below the set point. The thermostat closes the electrical connection between the "R" hot wire and the "W" heating wire.
The furnace starts the induced draft blower and runs for ~45 seconds. If the vacuum proving switch is made, the spark igniter or hot surface igniter is energized. The pilot valve opens and the pilot is ignited. If the flame sensor senses a flame, the igniter is de-energized and the main fuel valve is energized. 90 to 120 seconds later, the fan is energized. If any one or more of the safety switches is open, the sequence will not happen.
Some units do not use a pilot flame; these are direct ignition, but they do use the same safety sensors.
If you can identify where the ignition sequence stops, you can rectify the problem.
Your best bet is to contact a reputable HVAC repair company and have them check out the unit.

On the 9th of March 2009 I was watching news on Tele after hour or so I lost my patient after watching Pakistan is facing numerous problems moreover going through extremely difficult time since it was founded i.e. Talibans. Restoration of judiciary crisis in Baluchistan international pressure is mounting on Pakistan US demanding to take strict measures against Pakistani Talibans and so on so forth .I cannot obtain it to any further extent I immediately stood up and start walking towards outside of my house I went to nearby cricket ground when I was stroll around I was thinking about My beloved land Pakistan where we are heading as a nation what will happen to us is this is the end of my beloved land? All that questions & feelings made me picnic in anger I kicked the stone which was lying near by my foot Stone roll in the air and landed little far away from where I was standing I start walking again in the similar direction where the stone was landed when I was passing by I heard the voice why you are kicking me I can be useful & helpful instrument for you I was astonish to hear the voice in the dark and trying to get hold of my breath and the same very time trying to figure out who is talking to me My eyes cannot spot any human being in nearby afterward all of sudden I hear the same voice this time it was saying to me it is I the stone which you just kicked in the air talking to you it took me all by the surprise and immediately I replied how in the world stone can talk to human again the same voice replied this time it was saying its very simple who educated you to walk when you were toddler The Almighty Allah He gave me the voice to talk to you .My heart was pounding and I was in stage of shock thinking what’s going with me why stone is talking to me is this real or just my imagination I was so frightened also haphazard I kicked the stone again this time the stone was saying in the atmosphere do not kick me I can be useful and helpful instrument for you .I clam myself down and pray to ALLAH please protect me from the creatures of darkness when I was praying I got the courage furthermore my lost strength was back I get hold of my terror and I ask the stone what makes you to utter that you be capable of helping me the time I was asking the question I heard the bark of the dog and dog was furiously running towards me to save myself from savage creature I picked up the stone and throw the stone at the dog it strike right at the skull of dog and he sprint away I sat on the ground put myself together start walking and looking around for the stone I found the stone and I picked up in hand and I thank Almighty Who send this stone to help me and I offered My request for forgiveness to the Stone How impolite I was at that time I sat on the ground and found myself talking with stone I whispered Oh my dear friend it took me awhile to comprehend that Me and you have relation of centuries you are my useful and helpful tool in every form of life you are spiritually helpful to me in form of Hajra-e- iswat you are valuable for me in shape of gems & jewels you were the initial source of light and fire .You were my primary weapon when I hunted for the first time you were my first home in the form of cave beside all that you will be with me at my final resting place you & I have a immortal relation how foolish of me to ignore the facts of our history .
That night I realized if stone posses incredible powers which can revolutionize your method of thinking questions rise to my mind why can’t we as human? Moreover above all as a Muslim how can we forget? that we belong to the UMA of Syedna Muhammad Pace be upon him Who made the possible out of impossible we are inherited survivors’ our home land was founded by the vision of one man name Allama Iqbal and by the efforts of immense leaders Like Qauid-e- Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,Liaqaut Ali khan and others .If they can accomplish such mile stone in their life why couldn’t we have the courage to struggle against such turmoil situation i.e. catastrophe in Baluchistan in Swat& Waziristan, In Karachi we are facing as a nation I know it is a daunting task to encounter as wise man once said “when there is a will there is way” all we have to be like those stones which can turn them self into rocks then into mountains and stood side by side as well as save our UMA & our beloved land Pakistan all we need is to think of ourselves as stones which can be constructive and supportive instruments for our UMA also for our country .
