Synching iphone with Itunes library?
I have an ipod, but no longer have internet access on my home computer. I still use my itunes on that computer, I just can't purchase anything from the itunes store. I now have an iphone which needed an internet connection to be activated - so I activated it on my work computer which required me to download itunes. Now I can't figure out how to synch my iphone with my music library that's on my home computer. Is an internet connection required to take songs from the itunes library and put them on my iphone?
No, not to synch the Iphone but you do need to authorize it first otherwise itunes will not allow your purchased library to synch to the iphone.
I just finished going through this same problem myself and I had to call 1-800-apl-care twice and post the problem here on Y!A before receiving any sound information. The answer came from someone here on Y!A as the people at apl-care were not very helpfull.

how to unlock a used iphone?
My friend gave me his old i phone, I downloaded itunes and made myself an account but i hit restore and now the phone is saying "no sim card installed insert a valid sim with no pin lock to activate phone"
I found a really old sim card and put it it no longer says i need a sim card but it's still locked.
I don't want to use it as a phone i just want it for the internet apps music and camera. Basically a touch but with a camera. How can i get my phone unlocked so i can use it T_T and buying a plan and simcard is just something i don't have the money to do right now.
