What is the best hair colour for me? (I'm an actor)?
I want to pursue film acting... and I want to book anything! Commercials, television, movies. I am currently "overhauling my look" in preparation.(diet and exercise) and I want to change my hair colour to something that would book me work.
In theatre school, I played types that were innocent, spontaneous, and giggly. I'm probably best suited for romantic comedy. So should I play into that "type" with my hair colour?
My hair is naturally light brown (though it was naturally blond until high school) I have had dark brown hair before and I had a lot of compliments on it, and I have had dyed golden blond and had lot's of compliments. (no one liked the red or highlighted brown look on me though.. and neither did I). Ooo and I'm polish (but no accent) and have one dark brown eye and one green eye.
So blond or dark brown?

Keep it natural. Be who you are and let your acting speak for itself.
You could put together a composite on the back of your head-shot that shows you with different looks. This gives a casting director a more in depth look at what you could look like if necessary.
No matter what colour you pick it could potentially cost you work so....pick them all. In a sense.

Opinions on trim color for finishing basement?
I am finishing my basement in a more modern design with a home theater, exercise room, kitchen, an extra bedroom, office space, a wine cellar and large open game room. I am considering painting the trim black, and possibly painting or staining the doors a different color, like dk. brown. The color scheme is going to be brighter colors like kiwi green, reds and cobalt blue. The rest of the house is transitional in design with white trim and doors. I have 9' ceilings and 4 windows with several transoms of glass and glass doors to let light in, so I am not really worried about it being too dark. The flooring I have chosen for the theater is a red/geometric print, cork for the wine cellar and neutral white/brown/tan 24" tile with stainless steel accent bars. I would like to know if anyone has seen or done black trim and their opinions on it. Thanks.
