theatre Lighting Equipment

What do you look for in a Drama and/or Stagecraft self-help book?
I have taught high school and junior high school Drama for more than 20 years and have produced and directed school plays on a number of stages. I also am considering writing a self-help book for school Drama and community Drama groups. My experiences include recruiting and making Drama accessible to a wide range of students, building quality sets on a budget, use of lighting and sound equipment and a lot more. I learned basics of the craft in college but had to re-learn lots of things to make Drama work in school and in the community. I had to buy a lot of books to glean a few good new ideas and think I could write a better school and community theatre self-help book. So, what do you look for in a Drama self-help book?
Well its an excellent idea. We are truly lacking in good books on both the subjects .
1) Drama - we have two aspects, the right hand side and the left hand side .
in the right hand we try to learn to imagine the character that we re going to portray. How best we can truly identify with the character.
In the left hand side we learn to work properly our tongue, proper diction, develop a good memory, different intonations, different walks, mimes etc..
A proper culture of the both will have gone far in your course in dramatics.
2) For the stagecraft self-help book is also a must. this consists :
i) of the mike and recording section with proper arragements for slides and even movie projection on the back - drop.
ii) A revolving stage
iii) proper lighting equipments with flood and focus lights. We would like to have even different colour lighting.
iv) A whole set of curtains , some painted andothers even transparent or muslin like.
v) a good green room facilities of make-up equipment
vi) A department of costumes .

Home Theatre Systems enhanced home cinema
Home cinema, also called a home theater, is an entertainment system that seeks to reproduce movie theater quality video and audio in your home. A home theater system is an exciting entertainment option that provides the consumer with an immersive viewing and listening experience.
Home theatre systems are perfect means of entertainment right inside our homes. We can have loads of fun and enjoyment watching the movies with exceptional display and amazing sound effects. These highly advanced gadgets promise incredible entertainment. It is great fun watching our favorite action movie and the best stars on the screen of our incredible television. Watching a movie in the comfortable and cozy confines of our home is certainly a bright and wonderful idea.
Home theatre systems give us perfect experience that is no less than watching the movie in a theatre. We get surround sound effects, amazing display and incredible performance. This system is a collection of sophisticated electronic gadgets that together give an amazing combination of great visuals and sounds. It includes a high definition television with wide screen, a supersonic or high quality sound system with advanced speakers and efficient DVD player. The sound system is enhanced by its high quality surround sound effects and woofers.
The major devices that comprise the ideal home theatre system are a large screen TV, efficient DVD players and surround sound system. These days a wide variety of options are available for the television. We can have the latest Plasma TV or flat screen LCD TV. We need a DVD or CD player with which we can play movie CDs etc. In the surround sound systems, the audio signal is split into a large number of channels and the discrete sound information is transmitted through different channels. This leads to amazing sound effects. The different speakers transmit different sounds giving us absolutely thunderous and incredible sounds.
We need a wonderful sound system which should contain at least four speakers for great sound effects. Equipment for the sound splitting is needed with which the amazing surround sound effect can be created. The home theatre systems should also have a highly advanced receiver with which the various audio and video signals are amplified and then sent to the output device. It is very important to carefully arrange the various equipment in the room. If we do not arrange them properly we would not be able to get the perfect theatre effect. The system should be incorporated in a spacious and enclosed room that does not have much outside light. Great acoustics cannot be achieved in open rooms.

Ok. I have a question. I’m not a big chocolate fan, but I have to know how you managed to get such a good photo after 9pm, indoors, in Indiana, with daylight savings time?? I am against a blogger brick wall with photography right now, since it is pitch black outside at 5 pm when my dinner dish is prepared! What special lighting equipment do you use?
This is a massive ask the poem is nowhere near good enough to be this long honestly!
There are too many But Caseys, and But Flynns. You use the name Casey way too often you use "say" waay too often.
Your entire poem is replete with hyperbole. I found no assonance or allitration but the work is slightly too pleonastic.
I would say please try to focus less on literary mechanics and concentration on your storyline.
Build suspense. Putting words in quotes marks does not endow it with interest.
If you put on a voice that's not quite yours you will find yourself writing away from the poetry rather than towards it.
Mere length is not impressive on a site like this, the more you write the more pressure you have to keep people's interest because you're competing with at least twenty other writers within he same page who are willing to be so much more succinct. So you must not take a single line for granted or waste a single line because you do not have it to waste.
It is great that you took the time to write it but you could have done so much better if you waited once you first got the idea to write this and let the entire thing form into something exciting and powerful.
The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville nine that day;
The score stood four to two with but one inning more to play.
And then when Cooney died at first, and Barrows did the same,
A sickly silence fell upon the patrons of the game.
You start off very well and it looks and feel exciting… but you totally lose interest until the line And
"the former was a lulu and the latter was a cake;"
You then waste six whole lines before coming to the next bit of interest:
Then from 5,000 throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
It rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
It knocked upon the mountain and recoiled upon the flat,
For Casey, mighty Casey, was advancing to the bat.
It would also help if you wrote something that people can relate to. Understanding who your potential readers are and what they're interested is invaluable information when you're writing. It's definitely not all about your own interest because you clearly want others to engage with your work.
So good effort, but your focus was slightly off I'm afraid. You had some decent work here but it was definitely too long all around.
