Average wedding DJ cost?
I am getting married this August in Lake Geneva and have found a DJ package for $999 that includes taxes, travel and set up/tear down fees. It also includes one DJ and one MC for 6 hours of entertainment with an 800 watt sound system and theatrical lights. I am unaware of the average cost of a DJ, is this a good price for this package? Thank you.
I think that's a good deal. mine was $800 for 5 hours and he set up equipment in 3 areas for us.
don't forget you have to tip him and feed him during the reception, so don't pay more than $1000.
call his references and ask how their wedding went.
