Water Faucet Led
How do I stop a "thunking" noise in my recently installed kitchen faucet?
The noise occurs on two occasions: Whenever I turn the water on and when the water flow is increased suddenly; however, it does not occur when the water is turned off.
I did some research and it initially led me to believe that it was "water hammer" but the symptoms of that all seemed to occur when the water was shut off, which is not my problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?

the prob may be caused by nulee installed metal pipe etc thats not restrained to wall studs or floor joists properly.....if hanging or floating loose when tap is turned of quik, water will impact and shudder thru loose pipes... the pipe should be mounted dead ridgid.
