Wireless Receiver can you use a guitar hero guitar on the same wireless receiver as a rock band quitar?
or do you need seperate wireless receivers for each guitar ?..... also if this will not work can you buy just a receiver as this was new and for some reason or another the receiver part quit working ...as then went and purchased rock band ! any help would be apreciated thanks
each guitar has it's own little reciver thing. where you plug it into the usb port. so you would need 2, and i dont think that guitar hero 3 one's or guitar hero 2 one's (if you have a 360) would work for rock band guitars.

Can the wireless receiver/dongle from guitar hero pick up more than one guitar?
I recently purchased a guitar hero 3 bundle from ebay and it didn't come with a wireless receiver/dongle. i tried to get a hold of the seller but have got no response yet. i read somewhere that one receiver can pick up the signal of more than one guitar, is this true? also should i give this person a bad feedback seeing as how he forgot to mention there was no receiver in the bundle? I have a 360 and as a result have an unofficial Madcatz wired controller, that’s what I use when I play games with a controller on the computer, it works fine and it only cost me around €15 so it was pretty cheap. Worth getting if you need one. When you say wireless receiver do you mean the dongle? As far as I know the dongle connects via USB, it’s the controller that you have to replace batteries in which can be done with a cheap pack of store brand batteries. Most brands I’ve tried seem to last a while and most of them are €2 per pack (12 in a pack).
