Is there a loop machine than can loop more than just guitars?

I saw the video of JP on "Australia's Got Talent" (see him at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WduD_DWI_0Q) and looping different guitar and percussive parts seems like a lot of fun.

I know there are guitar pedals that you plug your guitar into and it only loops your guitar....but are there any sort of workstations or pedals out there that allow a Mic to be looped in order to loop vocals, drums, or anything else that comes to mind?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP, any help is appreciated!

I think there are a lot of possible tools which can do this. At least the better loop stations and loop pedals have microphone as well as instrument inputs:

Digitech GNX3000 Workstation

What instrument do I need?

SO hi. I'm a guitarist, keyboardist, and world percussionist. I have a background in acoustic/folk music in a duo, but branching off on my own im discovering my own sound. I'm going to list some influences at the bottom to better clear this up. I cant tell if i need a workstation keyboard or a new guitar or a drum machine or what. I will list what i already have.

Yamaha YPG-625 digital piano/keyboard
epiphone les paul
takamine acoustic
line 6 multi fx pedal
(my world percussion stuff dont matter)

and im not sure if i should get a yamaha mo6 workstation or an american strat or a voice processor.

My influences : the bird and the bee, lily allen, santogold, anya marina, inara george, tings tings, kate earl, mika, regina spektor, bjork, imogen heap, only son, talking heads,

i have 800-1000 to spend.

im experienced in both guitar and keyboard so im no ameteur im just very indescisive...yeah

Can't go wrong with an American Stratocaster for its crazy assed sound.

Also, while buying stuff for guitar, try getting a Sonic Maximizer or Noise Suppression pedal. Sonic Maximizer enhances and cleans the sound that is coming out, and Noise Suppression gets rid of any annoying buzz while you aren't playing.
